Xiumin tested positive for COVID-19 today (Aug 5th).
Xiumin took a COVID-19 PCR test for musical practice on July 29th and received a negative result. On August 4th, due to experiencing symptoms, he took an additional PCR test and it was confirmed today (Aug 5th).
As a result, EXO members and staff will be self-quarantining while awaiting the results of their COVID-19 tests.
Additionally, all broadcast programs featuring Xiumin have been informed, and cast members and staff of the musical “Hadestown”, who recently practiced together, will be tested for COVID-19.
Xiumin will immediately stop all schedules and activities and follow quarantine procedures. We will do our best to ensure the artist recovers quickly.
